MEET POLLY
Hi, I'm Polly Gomides and my passion is helping people achieve their goals.
Originally from Brazil, I grew up in Dallas, Texas and learned English as a child. My love for languages and cultures can be attributed to growing consciously from the different cultures I came into contact with. I believe this is probably what inspired me to pursue a career in teaching English as a Second Language, which I have happily pursued for over 20 years.
Two years ago, I left Brazil and my consolidated career as director of a university Language Center and moved to Canada with my family. Once here, I quickly understood the hiring process and, being the teacher that I am, I developed an easy approach that will walk people through discovering this process, developing their job application, and giving them guidance and strategy to help them achieve your best professional version.
I know the challenges we encounter when trying to get our first job abroad, the insecurities and doubts we face. I have been there and faced them personally. But coming from someone who has “been there, done that” and succeeded, I'm here to assure you that you don't have to settle for less when you have the full potential to live your dreams.
